Crochet Blanket for Twin Bed

Hi. I'm Monica. I really enjoy knitting and just learned to crochet. Below is my most recent crochet project. I made adjustments to this pattern to make my daughter a blanket for her bed. This is my first time adding a zipper in my project. It has to be hand sewn so not to ruin your work, but it's a lot easier than I thought.
